LVACWS Bermuda

This past weekend Bermuda hosted the 3rd and final Louis Vuitton America's Cup World Series event of 2015. Bermuda did an amazing job hosting the event! The amount of people in town and on the water over the weekend was incredible. Over 900 spectator boats were registered to be out on the water plus thousands of people who watched from onshore. The energy on the island was awesome, I can't even imagine how cool the actual Cup is going to be come 2017!

Oracle Team USA ended up placing 3rd in the event, moving them up to 2nd for the overall LVACWS standings.

America's Cup World Series Press Tour

Matt had a busy week traveling to Chicago and New York to promote the America's Cup World Series. Quick 24 hour trip to Chicago for the announcement of the ACWS event that will take place next summer. Mark your calendars for June 10-12 2016, it's going to be an awesome event held at the new and improved Navy Pier. First time in America's Cup history an event will be held in fresh water. I can't wait to show off my hometown!

Home Sweet Home... 'til 2017

It seems impossible that we have been living in Bermuda for almost 6 months - time flies!! It has definitely been a life adjustment, but overall island living has been amazing and I wouldn't change a thing. I've created this blog to share our adventures and experiences on 'The Rock' over the next two years. Hope you enjoy!
